About the workshop
Come and learn to use the techniques of cobbling and random weaving with Jodie Goldring.
In this full-day workshop, you will make a small bird from natural and man-made fibres using cobbling and random weaving techniques. Cobbling is a kind of random stitching used to hold fibre together to create a form.Jodie will provide you with information about basketry techniques and fibre collection during the workshop.
At the end of the day, you will take your small bird home with you.

What do I need to bring?
Snacks, lunch, water bottle, notepad and pen. Apron and secateurs (if you have them).
Clothing guidelines
Comfortable clothes and closed toed shoes.
Maximum class size
Small class size – max 8 participants
What is Included
All instruction, tools and materials provided. A range of plant material will be provided such as iris, red-hot poker, bulrushes, watsonia and willow. Information about how to collect, dry and prepare your own materials to use at home is included in this workshop.
