JUDE SAYS:
My passion is Indigo and I never tire of the alchemy, that’s when you pull out the cloth from the vat and suddenly it turns from a beautiful green to a sea blue. It makes my heart sing every time. I’ve worked with textiles for many many years, it means the world to me. I love the process of foraging for dye sources in the natural world, exploring fungi, lichen and indigenous plants.
WE SAY:
Jude Craig undertook a degree in Textiles at Manchester Metropolitan University and has travelled the world to learn about textile traditions. She has since had the opportunity to train with master dyer Aboubakar Fofana while hosting him at her studio. Jude is passionate about the impact of fast fashion and is committed to working with natural dyes and fibres.
