Basket workshops are in high demand and I think it’s because people are looking for ways to slow down. I love working with natural plant fibres that I find across the seasons that are freely available in nature. I’ve been working and exhibiting my creations over many years and have been teaching basketry since 2015. I’m hoping to inspire a new generation of basket makers.
WE SAY:
Jodie has over a decade of experience as a teacher and uses her skills to pass on the rare trade of basketry. As an artist, her work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions. Her workshops have a strong appeal to people seeking the satisfaction of creating something handmade.
