ABOUT JO:
Jo Barr is a textile artist specialising in creating and selling wool felt hats through her business JAMB Hats. She handcrafts her own felt from Australian wool fibres and turns it into unique hats in her on-farm studio in rural NSW
WE SAY:
Jo is passionate about Australian agriculture and prioritises using sustainable materials in her arts practice. She has studied Education, Agriculture and Applied Science specialising in Textiles. Jo conducts a variety of wet felting classes in hats, flowers and felt pictures. She has run workshops for everyone from community groups to fibre festivals. Jo has demonstrated at Tamworth Country Music Festival and been guest exhibitor in Art galleries, Art shows and Artisan events
