Eli Beke is a self-taught craftsperson who predominantly works with wood and metals, combining traditional woodcarving and timber joinery techniques.
WE SAY:
Eli is based in Torquay where he runs his business Wedge and Edge. His practice is influenced by Swedish and Japanese-carved household objects. He creates practical forms that are as visually compelling as they are functional. Each piece is imbued with the maker's hand and designed to enrich the life of the owner.
