ABOUT CATHERINE:
Catherine Irving is a costume designer specialising in making fantasy and historically inspired costumes. She is passionate about all things corsetry from historical replicas to fantasy creations or general support garments.
WE SAY:
Catherine has created commissions for various Australian artists, including a curvaceous corset for Velma Vouloir, which Velma wore as part of her winning performance in Mx Burlesque Victoria 2023. She has over a decade of experience teaching in a tertiary environment. Outside of the classroom, you can find her online as Crystal Pegasus Costumes showcasing her spectacular work and imparting her costume and corsetry wisdom.
