About this workshop
Learn traditional weaving techniques with Wadawurrung woman, Tammy Gilson.
In this half-day workshop, you will learn to make a coil basket using recycled and re-purposed materials. This sustainable practice turns something old into something useful and beautiful drawing on Tammy’s cultural practice.Tammy will walk you through the process of wrapping and stitching the materials to build your basket.
At the end of the workshop, you will take home your finished basket and your newfound knowledge of this traditional basketry technique. "
