About this workshop
Join Windsor Chair Maker and Green Wood Worker, Glen Rundell for a deep dive into TOOLS, TERMINOLOGY and TECHNIQUES.In this half-day session, Glen will impart his wisdom in green woodworking.
This informative session will cover the tools you need for shaping and carving, hewing and riving, drilling and reaming, turning, and finishing.
Glen will share the best places to find tools, how to maintain them, and demonstrate the correct way to use them to open up a world of possibilities from carving to chair making.
There will be an opportunity to try all the tools and equipment covered in the session and view the workshop spaces at the Rare Trades Centre.
At the end of the session, you will leave feeling confident to start your own green woodworking journey.

Snacks, lunch, water bottle, notepad and pen.
Clothing guidelines
Workshop appropriate - closed toe shoes, no hanging jewellery, hair tied back
