Centre for Rare Arts and Forgotten Trades acknowledges the Wadawurrung people as the Traditional custodians of the land on which we operate. The history and continuous culture of the Wadawurrung people is an important part of our shared story.

About this workshop 
Learn to spin fleece into yarn with spinner and weaver Dawn Lim. In this introductory full-day workshop, you will learn the basics of hand spinning from fleece to finished yarn. At the end of the day, you will leave with a small skein of plied wool you have spun on a spinning wheel.

Snacks, Lunch, Water Bottle, Notepad and Pen. An apron or tea towel to place on lap for spinning fleece

Casual and comfortable clothing with closed toed shoes

Small class size - 6 participants

All instruction, tools and materials included

You will learn to spin and ply a small skein of wool.
