Sew Your Own Underbust Corset
About this workshop
Learn to make an underbust corset with Catherine Irving of Crystal Pegasus Costumes.
In this 3-day workshop, you will learn to fit and sew a single layer underbust corset. The corsets will be made from luxurious Spot Broche Coutil (a fabric designed for corsetry), and include a split busk at the centre front, back lacing, flat steel bones at the front and back, and spiral steel or synthetic whalebone bones at the sides (as per student preferences).
At the end of the workshop, you will take home a custom fitted corset and a pattern adjusted to your measurements.
