Introductory Blacksmithing - Coal Rake and Hook
About this workshop
Learn the basics of blacksmithing with blacksmith and sculptor David Graham.
This full-day introduction to blacksmithing will cover safety in the workshop, the tools of the trade, and some basic forging techniques.
Using this information, you will learn to hand forge a coal rake and hanging hook.
At the end of the day, you will take your hand-made tool home with you.

What do I need to bring?
Snacks, lunch, water bottle, notepad and pen
Clothing guidelines
Workshop appropriate - wrist to ankle 100% cotton, steel capped boots or leather work boots preferred, hair tied back, no hanging jewellery, no baggy or flowing clothing.
