Introduction To Bronze Sand Casting
About this workshop
Learn the ancient technique of sand casting with armourer, Sam Bloomfield!
In this half-day workshop, you will learn to cast molten metal into an object using a mould made from sand. You will work in a small group with a maximum of 6 participants.For this project, you will use bronze to create a Bronze Age-inspired pendant. You will add a wire ring and leather thong to make a necklace.
At the end of the workshop, you will take a unique piece of jewellery home to add to your collection.

What do I need to bring?
Snacks, lunch, water bottle, notepad and pen.
Clothing guidelines
Workshop appropriate - closed toe shoes, hair tied back, no hanging jewellery, no baggy or flowing clothing.

Small class size – max 6 participants
