Embroidery - Chinese Silk and Gold Chrysanthemum

Learn the art of embroidery with award-winning artist, Alison Cole.
In this full day workshop, you will learn Chinese style embroidery techniques. You will work silk threads and gold Japanese couching thread to create a Chrysanthemum. The flower is worked in voided satin stitch with a couched gold surround.At the end of the day, you will take your beautiful embroidery home with you.

All instruction, tools and materials included. The kit includes cotton sateen fabric, flat silk thread, Japanese couching thread, needles, instructions, 8” hoop, beeswax
