Centre for Rare Arts and Forgotten Trades acknowledges the Wadawurrung people as the Traditional custodians of the land on which we operate. We acknowledge their unceded sovereignty over Wadawurrung Country, and the ongoing hardship and trauma as a result of colonisation. The history and continuous culture of the Wadawurrung people is an important part of our shared story.

About this workshop 
Learn the joys of working with precious silver with silversmith Rachel Grose.
In this full-day workshop, you will use traditional tools and techniques to create 3 pairs of earrings: studs, dangling earrings and hoops. At the end of the day, you can wear your work home.

Snacks, lunch, water bottle, notepad and pen.

Workshop appropriate - closed toe shoes, no hanging jewellery, hair tied back

Small class size – max 8 participants

All instruction, tools and materials included.

You will learn the traditional silversmithing tools and techniques techniques required to make different styles of earrings.

A lunch break and morning tea break are included with morning tea provided
