Cloth Covered Solander Style Box
About this workshop
Learn to make a solander style box with bookbinder and conservator Debra Parry.
In this half-day workshop, you will make a box from card and book cloth or buckram which can be used to store books, papers or other items.
At the end of the workshop, you can take the finished product home with you.

What do I need to bring?
Snacks, lunch, water bottle, notepad and pen.
Clothing guidelines
Workshop appropriate - closed toe shoes, no hanging jewellery, hair tied back, no baggy sleeves

You will learn to use a craft knife to cut thick card and apply adhesive to create a smooth surface.
